Starting from where we are at, and it can be anything, from a place of stuck-ness or solidity of any emotion to whatever is arising In the moment at large. When we bring in our conscious awareness to create an inner flex by tending to our inherent gift of light with an open hearted attitude or invitation toward what is not serving us. I call it The way of the heart. Softening around the edges of a held pattern, behavior or trauma by simply being a witness of the shut down or closed off-ness of the elements within and outside us. In such instances, our inner landscape of awareness of allowing and keeping an openness toward the dark congested spaces of a slumber state, is like embracing varying frequencies of loving presence and kindness.
The acceptance of lightness of our sense perceptions and beyond various perceptive dimensions, as our inner guides and teachers, is letting in ease, understanding and healing to come in.
This soft recognition of our constant overcharge and dis-ease, by letting it pass through our system’s intelligence, without rushing, judging or over analyzing is a much kinder response. While we keep peeling our hearts layers to uncover the inner scab or wounding of what doesn’t feel right to there’s a possibility of a sense of an empowering self emerging.
In this milder recognition of tough emotions is a resonance to free up like a lotus flower from the thick mud of different experiences. (No mud no lotus ) the inner melting of this murkiness in the container of Maitri (the friendliness ) a soft offering of a cup of tea to the solidity of the thought, an invitation and allowing of all that which makes no sense or some sense. Yet with an open attitude of loving through the suffering of it. This conscious cup of tea when offered to (Mara) which is not a useful friend or a challenging emotion at first serves as a starting point of self-nurturing. An honest, pure & a reflective offering from our heart to recognise (Mara) as it is can be the beginning of melting that inner squeeze into fluidity of friendliness and self-regulation.
Hence starting where we are at and really witnessing the conscious shifts and nuances occurring deeper within us is a process of stillness. A grounded joyous presence. When we breathe into spaces that feel tight and uncomfortable, making the unconscious conscious with constant offering of loving kindness (Maitri) to ever overwhelming (Mara) we are rewiring into profound calmness, joy and recovery.
These precious inner works of accepting the darker aspects of who we are? And of whatever that makes us feel less loved or accepted is a great way of stepping into realms that we discard easily. Our shadow keeps calling us in to see, feel and hear and gradually go beyond our usual selves to witness the sides that we know nothing of, while creating loving friendliness in a wild world of Mara.
