Walking alone is not about feeling lonely, yet embracing the parts of ourselves that create a sense of reassurance, resilience, and a well informed grounded presence. These parts are within us all along our life’s journey, needing a chance to be seen, shared and collectively valued or healed.
The essence of solitude that strengthens our inner bond with the rest of the world, just as it gives us a place of stability and self acceptance, when fully contacted.
When we avoid looking for external validations and approvals, we are strengthening the muscle of internal canniness and resilience of a much wider field beyond our intelligence. We are tapping into a limitless, spacious and a much freer self. A space of utmost creativity, inner flow and integrity. People who walk alone are the torch bearers of the idea of an ever expanding flexible capacity of an inner resourcing. They come from a space of enough-ness and contentment.
Walking on a solitary path and not needing constant attention or outward energy is a practice which is cultivated gradually. The quality of solitude is rooted in us inherently as a space of wisdom and inner freedom. When we are not easily swayed by the crowd and noise around us. Rather we value that inner solitary voice being our guiding light & gift through the life’s endless course. It enhances our ability to look within where massive shifts are occurring. Solitude is perceived as a scary feeling at times, yet on the contrary it’s the very emotional charge that keeps us in harmony, sheer openness and malleable practicality. We are learning here in solitude, non-attachment to any outcome, yet keeping our scope open to various interpretations and perspectives in the moment. The idea of staying uncluttered or unperturbed by the extremities of the world.
Our truth and belongingness that comes in as a skill with solitude and the silence within, which is a deep container of recognition of who we truly are and becoming. A reminder of the space of that inner knowing and unknowing or an In-between junction of the two, where much of learning and growth is happening. Being in solitude keeps us in check with an aligned presence, grace and depth. As our mental noise calms down with the practice, giving us more clarity, self-awareness and transparency of thinking and being.
